Brady elected Bloomington mayor

Former State Representative Dan Brady will be the next mayor of Bloomington.


Brady defeated incumbent Mboka Mwilambwe in Tuesday’s Consolidated Election, receiving almost 48 percent of the vote in the three-way race.


Incumbent Normal Mayor Chris Koos won re-election there as he beat Kathleen Lorenz and Chemberly Harris.


The McLean County sales tax question for schools appeared to narrowly pass.


Gibson City incumbent Mayor Dan Dickey won re-election with almost 78 percent of the vote over his challenger.
