Director of IEPA steps down

John Kim has resigned as director of the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency.
Governor Pritzker announced the news this week. Kim has served as director since 2019 and has worked for IEPA since 1994.
Deputy Director James Jennings takes over for Kim on an interim basis.
